Akij Cement, one of Bangladesh’s most prominent and trusted construction material brands, has launched a new nationwide campaign titled ‘Cement A Lohar Shakti’ as it enters its 24th year of operations.

The campaign was officially unveiled during a vibrant event held on Wednesday evening at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka. The inauguration was jointly led by Faria Hossain, Chairperson of AKIJ Resource, and Sheikh Jasim Uddin, Managing Director.

In her remarks, Faria Hossain described the brand’s 23-year journey as a milestone filled with pride and motivation. She noted that Akij Cement remains deeply committed to delivering premium-quality products while upholding the trust of its consumers. “Through this campaign, we intend to highlight the strength, durability, and technological superiority of our products in a renewed and engaging manner. Akij Cement will continue to play a vital role in advancing the nation’s infrastructure in the years ahead,” she said.

Managing Director Sheikh Jasim Uddin emphasized that Akij Cement’s success is the result of steadfast support from its customers, distributors, engineers, and partners. “The confidence and dedication of our stakeholders have positioned Akij Cement as a dependable name in the construction industry. This new campaign will reinforce our already strong presence in the market,” he added.

The event also featured speeches from key company leaders, including Md Moshiur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of Akij Cement; Mohammad Towfique Hasan, Chief Business Development Officer of AKIJ Resource; Mohammed Afsar Uddin, Chief People Officer; Sohanur Rahman Sohan, Deputy Chief Operating Officer; and Mostaq Ahmed, Chief Financial Officer of Building Materials.

Distributors, engineers, senior officials from various business units under AKIJ Resource, and invited guests were also present at the programme to celebrate the brand’s ongoing journey and the launch of its latest campaign.
