The bdapps Innovation Summit 2025, organized by Robi Axiata PLC, ended in Dhaka, celebrating local app developers and digital innovation. The summit aimed to encourage practical app development and strengthen Bangladesh’s local app ecosystem.
From over 1,300 submissions in areas like agriculture, education, gaming, and animal welfare, 25 ideas were shortlisted, and the Top 10 teams pitched at the final event. Dr. Chashi won first place, Chithi.me second, and ShooterX third. Other finalists included NerdBro, PawBuddy, Barta, Shikhi AI, DietKoach, LeafMed, and AceIT. Prizes were awarded by top officials, including BTRC Chairman Major General (Retd) Md Emdad Ul Bari and Robi executives.
Officials highlighted that technology and local app development are key to Bangladesh’s progress, and giving young innovators opportunities ensures practical solutions and nationwide digital growth.
The summit started in May with a nationwide roadshow, engaging university students, freelancers, and creative talents from across the country.
