The government is going to give the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Industrial Award-2022 to 12 industrial units in six categories for their outstanding contribution to the industrial sector.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin will hand over golden crests, money, and certificates to the representatives of the organizations at a function at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the city tomorrow, according to a press release on October 01, 2023.
Agriculture Minister Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder, and President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Mahbubul Alam will be present as special guests.
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun will preside over the event while Senior Secretary of the Industries Ministry Zakia Sultana will deliver a welcome speech.

In the large industries category, Runner Automobiles Ltd secured first place, followed by Zaber & Zubair Fabrics Ltd and BSRM Steels Ltd.
Nita Company Ltd secured the first position in the medium-scale industries category, while Noman Terry Towel Mills Ltd ranked second.
Winners in the small-scale industries category are Hazrat Amanat Shah Spinning Mills Ltd in first position, Basmati Distribution Ltd in second, and Techno Media Ltd in third.
Green Genesis Engineering Ltd has been selected in the micro-industries category and Shamsunnahar Textile Mills in the cottage industries category.
In the hi-tech industries category, Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd gained the first place and Super Star Electrical Accessories Ltd gained the second place.
