55 Bangladeshi cos to join consumer goods show ‘Ambiente’
At Ambiente 2023, a leading global consumer goods show taking place in Frankfurt, Germany from February 3-7, 55 Bangladeshi companies will showcase their products. The trade fair is expected to feature over 4,460 exhibitors from 92 countries, showcasing trends and innovations for the upcoming business season, according to a press release in Dhaka.
The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) is providing subsidized stalls to support the exports of handicrafts, decorative items, and kitchen accessories by enabling small and medium exporters to participate in the world’s largest consumer fair.

Several Bangladeshi companies, such as Paragon Ceramic, Shinepukur, Peoples Ceramic, Monno Ceramic, San Trade, and RFL Plastics, will participate in Ambiente 2023 and represent Bangladesh with their products. Prokritee, Saidpur Enterprises, Artisan House, and Asix BD will participate under the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
Ambiente is a leading international trade fair focusing on products related to dining, cooking, household items, interior design, gifts, jewelry, and fashion accessories, and is the number one fair of its kind in the world.
With a significant presence from South Asia, Bangladesh is the second-largest participant at Ambiente 2023. A wide range of products will be on display, with ceramic companies such as Shinepukur, Monno Ceramic, and Paragon Ceramics in Hall 12.0 and 12.1 (Dining) and other companies in Hall 10.1, 10.2, 10.4, and 11.1 (Giving and Living).

Bangladesh has been participating in Ambiente for over 30 years, and many industries such as jute and handicrafts have developed as a result of this fair. The top 10 visitor nations at Ambiente 2019 were Germany, China, France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, South Korea, the Netherlands, Turkey, and the USA.
