Huawei partners with Basis SoftExpo 2023

Huawei, a leading global provider of ICT infrastructure and smart devices, has partnered with BASIS SoftExpo 2023, which is set to begin on February 23 at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh China Friendship Exhibition Center in Purbachal of Dhaka.

According to a press release, Huawei signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS).

The signing ceremony was attended by BASIS President Russell T Ahmed, Vice-President (Admin) Abu Daud Khan, Secretary Hashim Ahmed, Assistant Manager Farah Jabin Ahmed, Alex Li (Vice President of Cloud Business Group of Huawei South Asia), and Md Shajahan Ahmed (Sales Manager of Cloud Solutions).

Russell T Ahmed expressed hope that BASIS SoftExpo 2023 would play a significant role in achieving the goal of a smart Bangladesh and taking the country one step further in digitalization. He also praised Huawei for its leadership in the ICT field worldwide and expressed delight in partnering with the company.

Alex Li affirmed Huawei’s commitment to supporting Bangladesh in achieving the Smart Bangladesh goal, as it did in fulfilling the dream of Digital Bangladesh.

BASIS SoftExpo 2023, a four-day information technology exhibition, will showcase the capacity of Bangladesh’s information technology sector through various programs.

It is expected to draw about 300,000 visitors, including government and private policymakers, about 200 national and international speakers, IT experts, IT sector businessmen, foreign delegations, domestic and foreign IT users, and interested young students.

Huawei will showcase its latest software and solutions at the event, with the goal of educating members of the ecosystem about the latest technologies and how to implement them for greater success.
