The “19th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2023 – Winter Edition” concurrently with “5th Dhaka International Denim Show 2023 will take place from March 1–4 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Bashundhara, Dhaka.

According to the press release, the four-day event will be organized by “CEMS Global USA” in collaboration with CCPIT – Sub Council of the Textile Industry (CCPIT-TEX)”.

With the mission of promoting communication and business cooperation between the Chinese textile and apparel industry and international industry counterparts and the business community, CCPIT TEX has gained a global reputation for its professionalism and excellent networking in the industry.

This event will mark the fifth anniversary of joint endeavours between CEMS-Global and CCPIT-TEX to promote Textiles in Bangladesh which is extremely helpful in the growth of RMG exports from Bangladesh.

At the pre-event press conference on Sunday, Meherun N Islam, president and managing director of CEMS Global said that after the Covid-19 pandemic, in 2022, they were able to successfully organize other important exhibitions, including the “Textech Bangladesh International Expo,” and received a great response from businessmen and entrepreneurs from the Textile & RMG sector of the country.

“In that context, we will hold the first exhibitions of the year 2023 – the “19th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2023 – Winter Edition” and the “5th Dhaka International Denim Show 2023,” she added.

The “19th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2023—Winter Edition” along with the `5th Dhaka Denim Show 2023′ are Bangladesh’s largest and oldest yarn, fabric and denim, trims and accessories exhibition.

It is one of the largest gatherings of manufacturers, buyers, and suppliers of yarn, fabric, denim and accessories in Bangladesh.

The chief guest at the expo inauguration ceremony will be Golam Dastagir Gazi, minister of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute.

More than 350 companies from 12 countries will be represented in this exhibition with more than 500 booths. It will be a one-stop platform to showcase new designs, the latest trends and cutting-edge technological advancements available in Textiles for the benefit of the entire RMG industry of Bangladesh.

The visitors from the Textile and RMG Industries will be appraised of the latest developments and technology available enabling Bangladesh to further compete in the highly competitive Apparel sourcing World market.

The exhibitions will be open to business visitors upon registration every day from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm.

Tanveer Qamrul Islam, executive director of CEMS Global, and Abhishek Das, director of International Marketing, CEMS Global, were also present at the press conference.
