Walton rolls out ACC air conditioner in Bangladesh
According to a press release, Walton has introduced high-end air conditioners in Bangladesh, marketed under the European brand ACC. The launch event was held at Walton Corporate Office in the capital.
The occasion was graced by the presence of several key personnel from Walton AC, including Chief Business Officer (CBO) Md. Tanvir Rahman, Deputy CBO Sondip Biswas, Head of R&I Ariful Islam, Chief Quality Assurance Officer Gao Weiming, HOD of Quality Management Md. Asib-Ul-Hoque Bhuiyan, Brand Manager Kholilur Rahman, and Brand Executive Sheikh Sayed Shahriar Hossain.
As per the press release, customers can purchase the ACC brand air conditioner primarily from Walton Plaza located in divisional cities, aside from online orders.
Eventually, the product will be available at all Walton Plaza outlets across the country. Walton provides free installation services to its customers. The ACC brand has been present in the European market since 1968.
Last year, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC acquired the rights to three European brands, including ACC, Zanussi Elettromeccanica (ZEM), and Verdichter (VOE), along with their trademark in 57 countries, all R&D intellectual properties, and a fully automated inverter and non-inverter compatible compressor plant.
This acquisition was made by outbidding several globally renowned companies.
The CBO of Walton AC, Md. Tanvir Rahman, stated that the ACC brand air conditioner was released in the domestic market to provide elite customers with an international brand experience.
The AC upholds the more than 50-year tradition of the ACC brand, with a focus on its design and configuration. As per the press release, users of the ACC brand air conditioner can adjust the temperature between 16 and 31 degrees Celsius based on their needs.
The AC also features eco mode, turbo mode, comfort cooling, baby care, 4D air flow, and other options. Walton offers customers of the ACC brand air conditioner a one-year replacement warranty and a 10-year compressor warranty.
