Kulaura housewife gets 101 free items on Walton fridge buy
Monwara Begum, a housewife residing in Mirshangkar village under the Bhuksimoil union of Kulaura in Moulvibazar, has been awarded 101 free products after purchasing a Walton brand refrigerator as part of the ongoing Digital Campaign Season-17 across the nation.
The ceremony to officially hand over the products was held on April 6 at the “Bhai Bhai Enterprise” Walton distributor showroom located in Bhabaniganj Market of Juri Upazila.
The press release stated that Walton’s Digital Campaign aims to encourage customers’ active involvement in the program by providing online-based, efficient after-sales services and offering various benefits.
As part of the campaign, customers can win 101 free products or cash vouchers of up to Tk.1 lakh or guaranteed gifts.
Monwara bought a 163-litre refrigerator from the showroom on March 25 and received an SMS notification from Walton on her mobile phone of the 101 free products she had won.
The 101 products included a range of items such as a Walton fridge, AC, smart TV, washing machine, air cooler, microwave and electric oven, ceiling, pedestal, tornado and rechargeable fans, and rice cooker.

She carried the products to her home loaded in a truck and expressed her gratitude to Walton authorities for providing such facilities to customers.
DMD Humayun Kabir of Walton Hi-Tech Industries, who attended the ceremony, urged people to buy domestically made products to accelerate the country’s economy instead of buying foreign products with the money sent by expatriates.
Other attendees included local businessman MA Mozib Mahbub, Juri Police Station OC Mosharrof Hossain, Walton’s zonal manager in Sylhet, Asaduzzaman, Area Manager Sarwar Jahan, and proprietor of ‘Bhai Bhai Enterprise’ Humayun Kabir.
It is worth noting that Mosharof Hossain from Jashore, Nazrul Islam from Morrelganj municipality of Bagerhat, and Jashim Uddin from Ramu Upazila of Cox’s Bazar have previously received 101 house-full free products each after buying Walton fridges.
