‘Rosa’ wants to modernise the kitchen and bathroom market

With a burgeoning middle class, individuals in Bangladesh are increasingly seeking to acquire luxurious items for their households. These purchases may serve as symbols of social advancement or be driven by practical considerations.

Presently, approximately 50% of the kitchenware market in Bangladesh relies on imports. To reshape this landscape, the AkijBashir Group has announced its endeavor to promote their luxury sanitaryware and bathware brand, ROSA, as stated in a press release.

A significant number of people are looking to modernize their existing kitchens and bathrooms or furnish their new ones. For those with a taste for luxury kitchen and bathware, the ‘Rosa-KBL Expo 2023’ is set to commence.

The ‘Kitchen, Bath and Living Expo Bangladesh 2023’ will take place at the Bashundhara International Convention Centre (ICCB) in the capital from June 8th to June 10th. This three-day exhibition will bring together over 70 brands from seven countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Sri Lanka, India, and the host country Bangladesh.

Rosa, the sanitaryware and bathware brand under the AkijBashir Group, is the main sponsor of this event. In addition to offering international standard designs and high-quality products to the local market, Rosa is pioneering trends in sanitaryware and bathware solutions.

Simultaneously, the event will showcase products from Akij Ceramics, Akij Board, Akij Door, and Akij Tableware.

Mohammod Khourshed Alam, Director of Operations at AkijBashir Group, expressed their delight at being associated with the KBL expo through the ROSA brand, which features versatile sanitaryware and bathware products of the finest quality and features. The expo will showcase European standard sanitaryware and bathware products from ROSA, including upcoming and new arrivals.

During a press conference, Shahriar Zaman, the marketing manager of AkijBashir Group, emphasized their three-year track record of exporting international standard sanitaryware. They aspire to reduce dependence on imported products that can be manufactured locally.

Continuing their commitment, ROSA will serve as the title sponsor for the ‘Rosa-2nd KBL Expo 2023′. They will introduce state-of-the-art bathware and panel board solutions, aiming to fulfill customers’ aspirations of constructing their dream homes.

The Industries Minister, Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, will formally inaugurate the fair, which will exhibit a wide range of modern lifestyle and kitchen products. Individuals who are constructing new houses or planning renovations are encouraged to visit the expo, as they might find the items they have been seeking for their homes.

The expo is organized by WEM Bangladesh, an event management company, in collaboration with the Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB). The Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh serves as the strategic partner, and the Bangladesh Interior Companies Association is the associate partner. ROSA holds the title sponsorship for the event.
