Fair Distribution received National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award
Fair Distribution, a member of the renowned Fair Group, has been honored with the esteemed National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award in the service category (mid-level industry). A press release announced that the award ceremony took place on Saturday, June 17th, at the InterContinental Dhaka, the capital city.
The event was graced by the presence of Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, the Industries Minister, who served as the chief guest. During the ceremony, the award was presented to Mutassim Daiaan, the director of the Fair Group, by Humayun. Zakia Sultana, the secretary for the Ministry of Industries, presided over the ceremony.
The Ministry of Industries presents this prestigious award annually to acknowledge private-sector businesses for their exceptional contributions to industry development, job creation, and the overall economy of the nation.
In this year’s edition, a total of 39 businesses and service providers were recognized across six categories. Fair Distribution emerged as the recipient of the first prize in the service category, highlighting their unwavering dedication to providing high-quality services.
Expressing gratitude, Mutassim Daiaan attributed this achievement to Fair Distribution Limited and all the members of the Fair Group. He extended his heartfelt thanks to everyone for their unwavering efforts, emphasizing that this triumph belongs to the entire team.
Daiaan expressed immense joy and pride upon receiving the award and conveyed his appreciation for the government’s support and the Ministry of Industries. He firmly believes that this recognition will serve as an inspiration for their future endeavors.

Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub, the chairman of the Fair Group, played a crucial role in establishing Fair Distribution as a nationwide distribution network for globally renowned brands such as Samsung mobile phones, Olitalia, Tong Garden, Alfa, Alshifa Honey, and others.
This recognition is not the first for the Fair Group. In 2020, another subsidiary of the Fair Group, Fair Electronics, was awarded the National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award in the steel and engineering category, securing the first prize.
The National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award stands as a testament to the outstanding performance and unwavering commitment exhibited by Fair Distribution and the Fair Group as they continue to contribute to the growth of the industry, job creation, and the overall economy of the nation.
