Bangabandhu 3rd International Squash Tournament Award Ceremony

The prestigious award ceremony for the “Bangabandhu 3rd International Squash Tournament,” proudly supported by Ispahani for the third consecutive year, was held at Gulshan Club in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Organized by the Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation, this tournament marked the third installment of a series that has grown in stature over the years, featuring two international tournaments with renowned squash players from around the world, as stated in a press release.

Ispahani has been a dedicated sponsor of this tournament since 2021, contributing to the growth of professional squash in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh had the honor of hosting another edition of the Professional Squash Association ‘Challenge Tour-5’ during this 5-day international tournament, which took place from September 26 to 30.

In the “Bangabandhu 3rd International Squash Tournament” supported by Ispahani, the top six male players from Bangladesh showcased their skills against players from countries such as the Netherlands, Egypt, Iran, Kuwait, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, India, and Sri Lanka. Meanwhile, 14 talented women players from Bangladesh competed against their counterparts from Malaysia and Sri Lanka.

The Challenge Tour matches unfolded at the Gulshan Club, while the Satellite Tour and Youth Squash competitions played out at the Army Squash Complex.

The tournament reached its climax on September 30 at the Gulshan Club in the capital, Dhaka, with an intense final between Egyptian players Karim Al Torke and Saif Tamer. In a fiercely competitive match, Karim Al Torke emerged as the champion, and Saif Tamer secured the runner-up position.

The event was graced by the presence of State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell as the chief guest. The President of the Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation, Farooq Khan, along with esteemed special guests, including Vice President of the Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation and Chairman of Ispahani Group, Mirza Salman Ispahani, Vice President of the Federation Rashed Chowdhury, and Irshad Hossain, among others, added to the event’s grandeur.
