The 21st edition of the DHL-The Daily Star Bangladesh Business Awards was held yesterday, recognizing and celebrating the exceptional achievements and contributions of business leaders in Bangladesh.
These awards have been jointly presented by global logistics service provider DHL and The Daily Star, Bangladesh’s widely circulated English newspaper, since 2000.
The theme for this year’s award ceremony is “Vision to Action: The Trillion-Dollar Expedition of Bangladesh.” The event was attended by the Commerce Minister, Tipu Munshi, as the chief guest at Sheraton Dhaka.

The awards were presented in four categories: Business Person of the Year, Best Financial Institution of the Year, Outstanding Woman in Business, and Lifetime Achievement Award, highlighting the diverse contributions and impact of individuals and institutions in the country’s business community.
These awards serve as a platform to acknowledge and honor these businesses’ vital role in the economic growth and development of Bangladesh.
