Banglalink Expands Network Coverage with 15,000 Towers in Bangladesh

Banglalink has reached a significant milestone by expanding its network coverage to a total of 15,000 towers across Bangladesh. Over the past 18 months, more than 4,700 of these towers have been activated, resulting in a substantial increase in their 4G network coverage.

This expansion has led to a remarkable 66% growth in data subscribers, making Banglalink a key player in delivering fast 4G coverage in the country. In September 2023, the company’s customer base reached an impressive 42.85 million. Banglalink’s focus on network speed and quality is underscored by its 7th consecutive Ookla®️ Speedtest Award.

The company has also upgraded over 10,500 existing sites with high-capacity equipment to enhance voice and data quality. These upgrades include various spectrum utilizations, such as L900, L1800, and L2300 sites. Banglalink attributes these achievements to its strategic partners, including tower companies, Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network (NTTN) operators, vendors, and others.
