Spriha Bangladesh Foundation, a non-governmental development organization, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Meena Bazar, a subsidiary of Jamcon Group. This was the beginning of a joint venture of Meena Bazar and Spriha Bangladesh for disadvantaged children and youth.

Under the ‘Now Together’ initiative, a portion of each bill will be donated to Spriha Bangladesh every Sunday at all outlets in Meena Bazar. With the help of this grant, Spriha will take appropriate steps to protect the future of disadvantaged children and youth, the press release said. In addition, booths of greeting cards made by the children of Sprihar will be set up at the outlets of Meena Bazar, from where the buyers can buy the cards and give as much financial assistance as they want for the welfare of the children and youth.

Meena Bazar authorities hope that if this initiative is successful, it will create opportunities for education and employment for many disadvantaged children and youth.

Meena Bazar CEO Shaheen Khan, Chief Operating Officer Shamim Ahmed Jagirdar, Legal Adviser Jahangir Alam and Brand and Communication Manager Tasnim Hossain were present at the signing ceremony. Also present were Asghar Ali Sabri, Executive Director, Sprha Bangladesh, Mohammad Anisul Kabir Jasir, Director, Farha Sharmin, Deputy Director, Rozana Hafeez, General Manager and Farhan Imtisar Ahmed, Senior Growth Manager.
