Goofi is set to captivate young readers again with the “Borno Golpo 6” launch at the Ekushey Book Fair.

This latest instalment in the beloved series focuses on Bengali letters. Each story is crafted to enhance children’s vocabulary and understanding of diverse societal roles.

“Borno Golpo 6” aims to educate children about the various classes and professions that make up our society, highlighting the unique contributions of each. Stories like “Dhonnho Amar Krishok Baba” emphasise the vital role of farmers, while “Tiar Notun Bondhu” addresses autism awareness, encouraging acceptance and understanding among young readers.

Authored by prominent writers such as Tahmina Rahman, Nawshin Afsana, and Waliullah Bhuiyan, “Borno Golpo 6” promises to be a valuable addition to children’s literature.

The official book launch will take place on February 15th at 4 PM in the Children’s Corner of the Ekushey Book Fair.

Waliullah Bhuiyan said, “In 2021, I started creating stories in Bengali under a series called ‘Borno Golpo.’ This series consists of nine volumes, each focusing on a different letter of the Bengali alphabet. So far, six volumes of Borno Golpo have been published. Each of the nine volumes has a central theme that emphasises building children’s morality, self-confidence, problem-solving skills, and good behaviour.”
