Walton, Bangladesh’s leading air conditioner brand, has taken a significant step in expanding its global presence by entering the Sri Lankan market. The company has begun exporting both residential and commercial ACs to Sri Lanka, strengthening its brand’s international footprint.

According to Abdur Rouf, Vice-President of Walton’s Global Business Division, the first shipment of Walton ACs was dispatched in the first week of this month. Sri Lanka’s reputed Monik Trading Private Limited has partnered with Walton to handle sales and marketing in the country.

Md. Tanvir Rahman, Chief Business Officer of Walton AC, stated, “We are actively expanding our brand business across Europe, America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Sri Lanka has a promising AC market, and we have set up robust sales, marketing, and after-sales service facilities to ensure a strong presence. Manufactured at Walton’s state-of-the-art production facility in Chandra, Gazipur, Walton ACs incorporate cutting-edge technology such as frost clean, air plasma, three-in-one converter technology, and intelligent control systems. The brand uses environmentally friendly R-290 gas in its compressors, ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability. Every Walton AC undergoes rigorous quality testing at the internationally accredited NASDAT-UTS lab before reaching both local and global markets.
