In his speech, Sarwar Kamal stated that Bangladesh still relies heavily on imported cosmetics. Alongside its e-commerce operations, Chardike aims to bring its own brands to global platforms within the next year. Work has already begun to promote Bangladeshi brands in Middle Eastern and Asian markets.
Notably, Chardike started its journey in 2019 with only three team members. Today, it has grown into a leading beauty e-commerce company with a workforce of 150 people. Since 2020, Chardike has been the exclusive distributor of world-renowned South Korean cosmetics brands Skinfood and GFORS in Bangladesh. Additionally, in 2024, Chardike launched its own skincare brands—SkinO and innsaei. These fully local and homegrown brands have already established a strong position among consumers.
