KUMON is a unique after-school program that has topped several categories in the Franchise 500 ranking by “Entrepreneur Magazine” for many consecutive years. BRAC KUMON LTD is an initiative of the KUMON Institute of Education, Japan in partnership with BRAC, which established the first Kumon centers in Bangladesh to offer its Math and English program for children from all across the country to make them learn independently and have quick and accurate mental calculations.
Job Purpose:
The position will be responsible for leading the marketing function with a strategic, end-to-end approach to build brand leadership, drive student growth, and strengthen community engagement. This role will also shape and execute impactful marketing initiatives aligned with BRAC and Kumon’s vision with the leadership mindset.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive ATL, BTL and Digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, student enrollment, and community engagement in alignment with BRAC Kumon Limited’s mission.
- Design and execute targeted marketing strategies to support new center acquisition and drive area-based promotional campaigns tailored to the specific needs and demographics of each center’s locality.
- Collaborate with center instructors and operations teams to support local marketing initiatives, ensuring each center meets enrollment goals and community outreach standards.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing data-driven insights to refine marketing efforts and optimize return on investment (ROI).
- Maintain relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output that supports the organization’s marketing objectives.
- Champion brand positioning and public relations efforts, representing BRAC Kumon Limited at events, media opportunities, and educational forums to strengthen its presence and reputation.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of integrated marketing strategies, both digital and traditional
- Understanding of education sector dynamics and parental behavior in decision-making
- Familiarity with brand positioning and awareness-building techniques
- Knowledge of market research, data analytics, and campaign performance tracking
- Awareness of budget management and marketing ROI
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Leadership and Team management
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor in Business Administration
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of working experience. (Specialized experience in the education sector or in any renowned agency in a managerial position)
