Walton, Bangladesh’s homegrown tech giant and super brand, has won three prestigious recognitions at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2025, celebrating its leadership in sustainability and green innovation within the electronics sector.
At the awards ceremony held on 12 July 2025 at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel, Dhaka, Walton received:

Organised by Bangladesh Brand Forum in collaboration with the Bangladesh Innovation Conclave and the Sustainable Brand Initiative, the awards recognise businesses contributing meaningfully to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
S M Mahbubul Alam, Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, accepted the accolades, reaffirming Walton’s commitment to producing world-class, energy-efficient, and environment-friendly products.

Walton’s SDG-driven initiatives include: installing rooftop and floating solar power plants, using eco-friendly refrigerants, recycling waste materials, cutting GHG emissions, and promoting energy-efficient technologies.
Earlier, Walton also received the Green Factory Award and the National Environment Award 2018, underscoring its dedication to sustainable growth.
