ACI Motors Limited, a leading force in agricultural mechanisation in Bangladesh, organised a landmark tractor handover ceremony at the Trade Fair Ground near the Gor-e-Shaheed Central Eidgah Maidan in Dinajpur.
The event aimed to secure Bangladesh’s entry into the Guinness World Records by achieving the highest number of tractor handovers in a single occasion. A total of 350 Sonalika tractors were officially handed over to farmers during the programme, marking a historic milestone in the country’s agricultural development.
Gaurav Saxena, Director and CEO of International Tractors Limited, attended as the chief guest, while Subrata Ranjan Das, Deputy Managing Director of ACI Motors Limited, presided over the event.

For over 18 years, ACI Motors has partnered with Sonalika to accelerate agricultural mechanisation in Bangladesh. The company currently holds more than 50 percent of the nation’s tractor market, reflecting its leadership and commitment to empowering farmers with modern technology.
The event also celebrated this long-standing success and aimed to boost morale among farmers, who remain vital to the country’s economy. ACI Motors reaffirmed its mission to inspire and support the agricultural community by showcasing Bangladesh’s progress in mechanisation on the global stage.

Senior officials from ACI Motors, government representatives including Md Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of Dinajpur, and Md Asif Uddin, Chief Business Officer of ACI Motors, along with Sonalika tractor owners and drivers, attended the ceremony.
This record-setting initiative stands as both a tribute to Bangladesh’s hardworking farmers and a symbol of ACI Motors’ ongoing commitment to transforming the nation’s agricultural landscape.
