Advanced Chemical Industries PLC (ACI), one of Bangladesh’s most diversified conglomerates, is seeking an energetic and driven professional for the position of Senior/Executive, Sales (Institutional & Retail Channels) under its subsidiary ACI Agrolink Limited. ACI Agrolink is a leading shrimp-processing and value-added frozen food company, known for its commitment to quality, food safety, and sustainable business practices.
Job Context:
The selected candidate will play a key role in driving sales growth, managing institutional and retail partnerships, and strengthening the company’s market position in Bangladesh’s fast-growing frozen food sector. This position requires strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills, along with the ability to work across multiple sales channels, including retail, modern trade, HoReCa, and e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to grow the value-added frozen food portfolio.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across institutional, retail, and wholesale channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach across traditional and modern trade.
- Conduct regular market visits to collect feedback, monitor product placement, and analyze competitor activity.
- Execute trade marketing initiatives, including in-store promotions, sampling, and merchandising.
- Support brand marketing campaigns, product launches, and digital sales initiatives.
- Analyze sales data and SKU performance to improve assortment, pricing, and profitability.
- Coordinate with production, supply chain, finance, and quality teams to ensure smooth business operations.
- Prepare sales reports, track inventory, and ensure timely collection of sales proceeds.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- BBA/MBA in Business Administration or Marketing will be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG, packaged food, or beverage industry.
- Experience in the frozen food sector will be highly preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Age at least 23 years.
- Must have a motorbike with a valid driving license.
- Strong skills in communication, negotiation, customer relationship management, and sales planning.
- Must be dynamic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
