Grameen Danone Foods Limited has been named the first runner-up in the “Social Impact Project of the Year (Small)” category at the Bangladesh Project Management Awards 2025, organised by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Bangladesh Chapter.

The award ceremony, held at the Radisson Blu Water Garden in Dhaka, recognised organisations demonstrating excellence in project management and contributing to sustainable development across the nation.

Grameen Danone received the honour for its “Milk for School Programme,” implemented in collaboration with Heifer International Korea and Heifer International Bangladesh. Launched in Ullapara, Sirajganj, the initiative empowers local women dairy farmers by ensuring fair milk prices through a dedicated chilling centre. The collected milk is then used to produce Shokti+ fortified yoghurt, which is distributed free of cost to 2,245 schoolchildren in the community.
