Job Context:
The Regional Manager will play a vital leadership role in achieving regional sales targets, developing team capabilities, and expanding market coverage. This position requires a highly experienced professional with a strong understanding of FMCG and bakery sales operations, distribution management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and implement sales forecasts and planning (daily, monthly, and yearly).
- Set regional sales targets and ensure achievement through effective strategy execution.
- Supervise and monitor the performance of the sales team, distributors, and overall sales operations.
- Guide and train Territory Sales Managers (TSM) and Sales Officers (SO) to enhance productivity.
- Manage and organize distribution activities while monitoring vehicle movements for timely delivery.
- Increase market coverage, ensure product availability, and improve overall sales realization.
- Maintain strong communication with distributors and retail partners to ensure operational efficiency.
- Analyze regional sales performance and prepare reports for management.
- Uphold Akij Bakers’ motto, “Quality First,” by ensuring excellence in execution and customer satisfaction.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in the FMCG or Bakery industry.
- Must have previous experience working in large organizations or groups of companies.
Additional Requirements:
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth understanding of distribution and sales operations.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Bangladesh.
