Akij Resource, one of the country’s leading business conglomerates, has officially launched its new AI-driven career platform ‘nextjobz’ (nextjobz.com.bd), aiming to make Bangladesh’s recruitment ecosystem more efficient, technology-based, and skill-focused.
The platform has been designed to simplify job search, hiring, skill development, and career guidance for the country’s youth. With advanced AI matching, nextjobz will act as a digital bridge between job seekers and employers, helping candidates acquire essential skills while enabling recruiters to find qualified talent faster.
Apart from job listings, the portal will feature updates on university programs, campus-related information, higher education opportunities, and global job openings abroad, offering a complete information hub for career-focused individuals.

Sheikh Jasim Uddin, Managing Director of Akij Resource, inaugurated the platform at a ceremony held on Wednesday at Akij House in Dhaka. During the launch, he emphasized Akij Resource’s mission to enhance the quality of life in Bangladesh through continuous innovation.
He said, “Our goal is to directly create 1 million employment opportunities at Akij Resource. Through this career portal, we plan to indirectly create opportunities for five million more people, both locally and globally. With NextJobz, we want to enable faster, skill-driven hiring so companies can grow stronger and the economy can move forward.”
Highlighting the rapidly changing job market, he added that nextjobz will help make recruitment fully technology-driven, allowing employers to find the right candidates in less time and at a lower cost.

Additionally, it will provide updates on job fairs, education expos, and skill-development events happening nationwide.
The launch event was attended by Mohammad Toufiq Hasan, Chief Business Development Officer; Mohammed Afsar Uddin, Chief People Officer; Jayed Bin Rashid, CEO of Akij iBOS; along with senior officials from various units of Akij Resource Limited.
