Bata Shoe Co Bangladesh Ltd, one of the most trusted footwear brands in the country, is seeking an experienced Lead Institutional and Industrial Sales professional to drive tender based sales, institutional partnerships and industrial client development. This senior position requires strong industry knowledge, exceptional communication skills and the ability to build influential networks across government, defense, semi government and industrial sectors.
The Lead Institutional and Industrial Sales will be responsible for monitoring government procurement portals, preparing tender proposals, securing institutional orders and expanding the safety shoe business in the industrial market. The role demands collaboration with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, product availability and timely delivery. The selected candidate will also support export business development, strengthen customer relationships and represent the company in external events and industry fairs.
Key Responsibilities
• Build strong networks with defense, government and semi government stakeholders to pursue tender opportunities
• Monitor procurement portals and tender announcements for timely participation
• Prepare and submit compliant and competitive tender proposals in coordination with internal teams
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to influence customer decisions and provide tailored solutions
• Maintain long term relationships with industrial buyers, factories and institutional clients
• Identify new business opportunities within industrial sectors for safety shoes and related products
• Strengthen export business liaison with BSO and non BSO customers
• Coordinate with Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Collection teams for smooth operations
• Track sales performance, tender success rates and customer feedback
• Represent Bata in external meetings, trade fairs and industry events
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institution
• Eight to twelve years of experience in FMCG, multinational or footwear industry
• Experience in tannery or footwear sector preferred
• Age between thirty and forty years
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
