
Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), one of Bangladesh’s largest and most prominent industrial conglomerates, is seeking a Territory Manager – Sales for its FMCG Division. This role is ideal for a motivated, experienced sales professional with a strong background in FMCG products such as edible oil, tea, spices, milk powder, and snacks. As a Territory Manager, you will oversee sales targets, manage distributor relationships, and lead a team of sales representatives to achieve business objectives. Frequent visits to retail outlets, warehouses, and distributors will be required to ensure smooth operations and consistent sales growth in your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement action plans to achieve monthly sales targets
• Assist in appointing and developing new distributors, supporting weak distributors
• Ensure product availability, delivery, and effective product lifting with distributors
• Visit outlets and distributors’ warehouses to reduce product damage and ensure availability
• Supervise and monitor Sales Representatives (SR) and Cycle Men (CM) to ensure daily sales targets are met
• Train SRs and CMs on product knowledge and sales techniques
• Monitor daily orders and deliveries using digital sales applications
• Oversee merchandising activities to ensure proper product visibility in the market
• Focus on customer acquisition and retention for sustained sales growth
• Prepare and submit reports on secondary sales, target achievements, and other performance metrics to the Regional Manager (RM)
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• At least 6 years of experience in FMCG sales
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
• Valid motorcycle driving license
• Self-motivated, energetic, and hardworking
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and customers
