Trade International Industries Limited, the manufacturing arm of Electro Mart Group and producer of Konka, Gree, and Haiko electronics in Bangladesh, has been awarded the South Asian Business Excellence Award for Best Manufacturer of the Year (Electronics) 2025.
The honor was presented to the company’s Deputy Managing Director, Md. Nurul Afser, by the Honorable Former President of Sri Lanka, H.E. Maithripala Sirisena, during the 9th South Asian Partnership Summit held in Colombo.
This prestigious award recognizes outstanding contributions to industry and business across eight South Asian countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The summit brought together distinguished leaders and industry representatives to celebrate innovation, excellence, and regional collaboration.

Konka and Gree first entered the Bangladeshi market through Electro Mart Group, earning strong customer trust for their world-class electronics and home appliances. This market demand helped the company evolve from a trading entity into a full-scale manufacturing industry. Since 2018, Trade International Industries Ltd. has been producing Konka and Gree products, along with its own brand Haiko, at its state-of-the-art facility in Narayanganj.

Haiko continues to expand its footprint with reliable and affordable home appliances.
