The global marketing community has entered a new frontier of collaboration in the wake of Professor Syed Ferhat Anwar‘s recent announcement as the first ever President of the newly formed World Marketing Council. The Council is formed under one umbrella with four major regional marketing bodies: the Asia Marketing Federation, European Marketing Council, African Marketing Confederation and Latin Marketing Council, to name a few, for global marketing cooperation and policy alignment.

As its founding President, Professor Anwar will lead the council’s mission to strengthen cross-continental knowledge exchange, develop unified global marketing standards and promote research and leadership development across emerging and established markets.
