The expo was arranged on the occasion of IAB’s golden jubilee. The program was sponsored by Akij ceramics Ltd, Berger Paints Bangladesh and Asian Paints Bangladesh Ltd. As a part of the celebration IAB arranged a WALK FOR ARCAUSE 2.0 – Cross Border Walk from Kolkata to Dhaka, with Ar. Gita Balakrishnan to express solidarity with the message UNITY THROUGH DESIGN. Architects, alumni, current students and registered guests were invited to the expo. Ar. Farhana S Emu, joint convener of golden jubilee elebration of IAB welcomed address and address of greeting was Ar. Mubassar Hossain, president of IAB. Indian Ar. Raj Rewal was in mastertalk 01 and Professor Shamsul Wares presented the history of IAB. Special guest Md Mamun-Al-Rashid, secretary, planning division, ministry of planning and chief guest honorable A.K. Abdul Monem gave their speech. The day ended with architects Subarno Shondhya. Ar. Qazi M Arif, convener of golden jubilee celebration of IAB gave the opening speech on the final day. Chief guest Md Shorif Ahmed, honorable state minister gave his speech. Ar. Duangrit Bunnag was on the mastertalk 02 session. The winning prize giving ceremony of IAB golden jubilee sports and photography event was given at the expo. The program successfully end with Golden Jubilee Wrap Rhapsody.
