BSRM Steels makes Tk 327.83 crore profit in 2021-22 

BSRM Steels Limited posted a 7.6% increase in profit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021. The company reported a profit of Tk 327.83 crore, compared to Tk 304.52 crore the previous year.

Thus, the company reported earnings per share of Tk 8.72. It was Tk 8.10 in 2020-21.

The net asset value per share rose to Tk 68.99 from Tk 62.38. But the net operating cash flow per share dropped to Tk 10.62 from Tk 20.87 in 2020-21.

The board of directors of BSRM Steels has recommended a 30 per cent cash dividend for the 2021-22 financial year. This is in line with the company’s strong performance in the last fiscal year, during which it posted a profit of Rs. 1,200 crore. The dividend will be payable to shareholders on September 30, 2021.
