Zinnia Huq new Unilever Bangladesh finance director

Unilever Bangladesh, a leading fast-moving consumer goods company, has recently announced the appointment of Zinnia Huq as their new finance director.

Zinnia brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as the director of finance for the beauty and wellbeing and personal care business divisions. Zinnia Huq is the first female finance director to join the management committee of Unilever Bangladesh.

Zinnia replaces Zahidul Islam Malita, who was appointed as procurement finance director in Singapore. With over 22 years of experience in finance, regional operations, and manufacturing, Zinnia is well-equipped to lead the finance division of Unilever Bangladesh.

Zinnia Huq joined Unilever Bangladesh in 2019 and successfully integrated GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) into Unilever’s processes and systems.

Prior to joining Unilever, Zinnia held various roles in corporate finance and international audit at BAT Bangladesh. She also served as the finance director at GSK Bangladesh from 2014 and was the regional finance project lead in Singapore for Asia Pacific.
