Nagad offers 25% cashback on shopping to celebrate Valentine’s Day

Nagad, a mobile financial service provider in Bangladesh, has come up with a cashback offer for its customers in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

Customers can receive up to 25% cashback or discount when they use Nagad for purchases from participating merchants, according to a press release.

The customer who makes the largest single-day payment with Nagad will also receive two round-trip air tickets for the Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar-Dhaka route.

The campaign runs from Tuesday to February 28, with some merchants ending the cashback offer on February 19. To take advantage of this offer, customers can use the Nagad app, USSD *167# or its online payment gateway.

The air ticket giveaway ends on February 19.

As a Nagad user, you can enjoy cashback when shopping at over 90 merchants, including Bata, Apex (online), Lotto (online), SSB Leather, Chef’s Table, Raymond, KAY KRAFT, and Monarch Mart.

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Nagad, Md Shihab Uddin Chowdhury, Nagad wants to bring more excitement to the Valentine’s Day celebration for people of all ages. “This campaign is our way of adding more color to people’s joy during this special festival,” said Chowdhury.

The customer with the highest single-day payment will be notified of their win of air tickets via a phone call. Up to three attempts will be made to reach the customer. If the call is not answered, the next highest transaction will be selected. Nagad customer service will verify the winner’s identity by requesting NID and other supporting documents.

Once the winner’s identity is confirmed, they will receive the air tickets within seven days. The tickets will be provided by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, who will take full responsibility for them.

Nagad will not request for customers’ PIN or OTP and warns users not to disclose these sensitive numbers to any third party.
