Abhishek Das from Chittagong has been awarded the title of ‘Best Banglabid’ in the sixth season of Ispahani Mirzapur Banglabid, the country’s largest language-based TV reality show. The grand finale took place at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in Dhaka, celebrating the spirit of pure Bangla language.
Organized and sponsored by Ispahani Mirzapur, this unique initiative aims to inspire the new generation to embrace correct Bangla spelling, pronunciation, and grammar. Contestants went through multiple rigorous rounds, evaluated by a panel of experts including Dhaka University’s Bangla Department professor and linguist Tariq Manjur, writer Anisul Haque, actor Tropa Majumder, and guest judge Abul Kashem Fazlul Haque, President of Bangla Academy.

As the winner, Abhishek received a scholarship of ৳10 lakh, while Rifa Tasnia of Dhaka and Rashmi Tultul Chowdhury of Chittagong secured second and third places, receiving ৳3 lakh and ৳2 lakh respectively. The top 10 finalists were also awarded laptops, Bangla books worth ৳50,000, and personal bookcases.
