Akij Bakers Ltd, one of Bangladesh’s leading bakery brands and a proud concern of Akij INSAF, is hiring a Senior Executive Assistant Manager Brand to strengthen its growing marketing team. Since 2020, Akij Bakers has built a strong portfolio with popular brands such as Bakeman’s, Funtastic, FAST, Yum and Hi5, delivering high quality bakery products across the country. The role calls for a brand professional with 4 to 6 years of FMCG experience who can lead campaigns, strengthen brand positioning and work closely with creative, digital, PR and event agencies.
The selected candidate will support annual brand planning, execute marketing campaigns, track competitor activities, manage creative development, oversee events and ensure smooth execution of all brand related operations including budgeting, documentation and reporting. Key Responsibilities
• Assist in brand planning and execution to build awareness and enhance brand value
• Coordinate with creative, PR, event and digital agencies for campaign implementation
• Oversee development of all creative materials including ads, promotional items and campaign assets
• Track competitor activities through regular market visits and take timely action
• Assist in executing annual brand budget and report on monthly budget vs expenditure with ROI analysis
• Plan and support trade shows, fairs, events and conferences
• Manage documentation, work orders, POs, billing and coordination with internal teams
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management
Requirements
• MBA in Marketing from a recognized university
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in FMCG brand management
• Experience in brand planning, brand development, promotional strategy and campaign execution
• Strong communication skills, creative thinking and business understanding
• Advertising agency background is preferred
• Flexible to travel anywhere in Bangladesh
