Akij Food & Beverage Limited has commenced its annual mango harvesting and pulping operations. This year, the company is once again sourcing high-quality mangoes from Natore, Naogaon, Rajshahi, and Chapainawabganj to produce Mango Fruit Drinks and Mango Bars.
The company announced that its mango collection and pulping activities began on June 6 at its Pulp Processing Factory in Chapainawabganj. This season, Akij Food & Beverage Limited aims to procure approximately 20,000 tons of mangoes, with operations continuing through August.

Syed Zahurul Alam, Director of Operations at Akij Food & Beverage Limited, emphasized the company’s commitment to quality. He highlighted that Akij is unique in Bangladesh for directly sourcing premium mangoes from orchards and ensuring natural ripening processes. The harvested mangoes are then converted into pulp using state-of-the-art aseptic machinery, ensuring a hands-free process that eliminates the need for preservatives.
