Akij Resources, a concern of Akij Group, is looking for a dynamic Area Sales Manager Water Pump and Tool for Akij Light Engineering Ltd. This role is ideal for experienced sales leaders who can manage field teams, build dealer networks, expand market coverage, and drive sustainable sales growth across multiple territories. Candidates with prior experience in water pumps, hardware tools, or similar categories will be given strong preference.
As an Area Sales Manager, you will oversee sales officers and territory officers, ensure product visibility and availability, manage dealers and retailers, and execute field strategies with discipline and efficiency. The role requires strong leadership capability, hands on field coaching, competitor analysis, and the ability to consistently meet monthly, quarterly and yearly targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned territories
• Ensure consistent availability, visibility and placement of products in all key retail outlets
• Appoint, develop and supervise dealers to maintain an efficient supply chain
• Expand dealer and retailer network to increase market coverage
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential business partners
• Lead, guide and monitor Sales Officers and Territory Officers
• Provide field coaching, training and motivation to strengthen team performance
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, promotions, pricing and customer feedback
• Prepare sales reports and ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs and field sales guidelines
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputed institution
• Four to seven years of experience in a similar role in water pumps, hardware tools or group of companies
• Age between twenty eight and thirty five years
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience leading field teams
