AKS Khan Pharmaceuticals Limited, a prominent name in Bangladesh’s healthcare sector, has entered into an agreement with MetLife to offer comprehensive insurance protection for its workforce.
Through this collaboration, employees of AKS Khan Pharmaceuticals will receive financial security in case of critical illness, accidents, disability, or death. MetLife was selected for its strong reputation in reliable claims settlement, tailored insurance solutions, modern digital tools, and seamless services—including cashless outpatient and ambulance support.

The company operates through two key divisions—AKS Pharmacy and AKS Diagnostic—working together to deliver continuous service and an enhanced customer experience. Since its inception in 2018, AKS Pharmacy has been making notable contributions to community healthcare with its swift and specialised offerings.
MetLife currently provides insurance to over 300,000 individuals and their families across more than 900 organisations in Bangladesh. In 2024 alone, MetLife Bangladesh processed insurance claims exceeding BDT 2,895 crore.

The agreement was officially signed at the corporate office of AKS Khan Pharmaceuticals. Managing Director Samnazar Shama Khan represented AKS Khan Pharmaceuticals, while Assistant Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer Touhidul Alam represented MetLife Bangladesh.
