Arla Foods Bangladesh receives Global Food safety standard certification

For the past 60 years, Arla Foods Bangladesh Limited, the local subsidiary of Danish multinational dairy cooperative Arla Foods and the producer of the country’s popular milk powder brand DANO, has held the prestigious Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000. (Version 5). sArla Foods Bangladesh is the first powder milk supplier in Bangladesh to be authorized by SGS, the world’s top inspection, verification, testing, and certification firm.
Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 (Version 5) is a globally recognized certification that was created as a recognised standard against which a food safety management system can be audited and certified. Prior to this accreditation, Arla Foods Bangladesh’s milk powder manufacturing factory has already earned ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2019 for adhering to stringent quality requirements throughout the packaging process.
Arla Foods Bangladesh now has FSSC 22000 (Version 5) certification, ensuring that it has a thorough food safety policy, emergency protocol, and evaluation process in place, as well as a tight internal audit system.

Arla Foods Bangladesh Ltd has been operating the packaging facility in Konabari, Gazipur, since 2014. Its current portfolio comprises Dano Power, Dano Growth Shakti, and Dano Daily Pushti, which provide milk sustenance to around 1.5 crore Bangladeshi consumers each month.
