Bangladesh among first 4 countries to receive ChatGPT Android version
OpenAI has taken a significant step in expanding its popular artificial intelligence chatbot, ChatGPT, by launching its Android version. As of now, the Android app is accessible for download in four countries: the USA, India, Bangladesh, and Brazil.
According to OpenAI official website, the company has plans to further extend the availability of the ChatGPT Android app to additional countries within the coming week.
Previously, in May 2023, OpenAI had released the iOS version of ChatGPT, broadening its reach to a larger audience.
The widespread adoption of ChatGPT has been truly remarkable. A UBS study reported that within just two months of its launch, ChatGPT achieved an astonishing milestone of 100 million monthly active users, setting a new record for the fastest-growing consumer application in history.

Backing up this claim, analytics firm Similarweb recorded an average of approximately 13 million unique visitors engaging with ChatGPT daily in January. This number more than doubled the usage levels observed in December, according to Reuters’ report.
With the Android version now available and the platform’s continuous expansion, ChatGPT is expected to reach even greater heights in the world of AI-powered chatbots.
