A press conference at the Bangladesh Computer Council Auditorium, ICT Tower, unveiled plans for the “Bangladesh Startup Summit 2024,” scheduled for July 27-28. Themed ‘Smart Bangladesh: Endless Possibilities,’ the summit aims to elevate Bangladesh’s startup ecosystem as a leading market in Asia.
State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications, and IT, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, attended the event, alongside key industry figures. Shamsul Arefin, ICT Division Secretary, and Sami Ahmed, Managing Director of Startup Bangladesh Limited, highlighted the event’s importance.
The summit promises over 100 international participants, 55+ venture capital and investment organizations, and 30+ sessions on AI, fintech, edtech, and more. Keynote speakers include Mayank, MD of Unicorn Startup Upgrad from India, and top global and Bangladeshi startup leaders.
