Bangladeshi companies receive good response at Ambiente 2023
A total of 55 Bangladeshi companies participated through the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) at the world’s largest consumer goods show Ambiente 2023 from 3 to 7 February.
The Ambiente trade fair, which hosted companies from across the globe to showcase their products to international visitors, ended on Tuesday.
Bangladesh, with its extensive range of products, had the largest participation from South Asia after India.
Bangladesh has been a regular participant in Ambiente for many years, leading to the development of industries such as ceramics and jute products.
A massive influx of shoppers arrived at Ambiente from approximately 160 countries, searching for inspiration and searching to buy products for their new collections.
According to Mohammad Anwar Hossain, the deputy general manager of Bengal Polymer Wares Limited, “the response has been positive and we have received many buyers from various countries”.
Bangladeshi companies exhibiting their products at the fair include Paragon Ceramic, Shinepukur, Peoples Ceramic, Monno Ceramic, San Trade, and RFL Plastics. SK Handicraft and Saidpur Enterprises also participated in the trade fair, under the EPB pavilion.
