Bangladeshi Talent Sakib Jamal Recognized in Forbes' 30 Under 30 List

Sakib Jamal, who was born in Bangladesh, has made a big achievement. He has been listed in the respected Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for North America in 2024. This yearly list honors young people under 30 who have shown great potential and influence in different fields like business, technology, and arts. Jamal got his spot on the list for his work in Venture Capital.

Jamal was the first worker at Crossbeam Ventures and he has played a big part in making the company grow fast since he joined in 2020. Forbes says that what he has done for the company has helped increase its worth to a huge $280 million across two main funds.

He had a direct hand in nine investments for Crossbeam Ventures and was also the main point of contact for another 14 investments. Because of how good he is at his job and how dedicated he is, Jamal got promoted twice within the company by June, and now holds the position of vice president.

Jamal studied at Cornell University and got a Bachelor of Arts Science degree there. Before this, he was also listed on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list for 2023 earlier this year. On top of all this, Crain’s New York Business also recognized his achievements by listing him on their ’20 Under 20′ list.
