Banglalink has earned the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, becoming one of the first telecom operators in Bangladesh to receive this internationally recognized standard for information security management.
The certification highlights Banglalink’s focus on protecting customer data and strengthening its cybersecurity framework. Achieving the latest version of this standard reflects the company’s efforts to align with global best practices and ensure digital service reliability.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 outlines strict requirements for establishing, maintaining, and continually improving an organisation’s information security management system. Banglalink met these criteria by building a robust structure to safeguard against risks such as unauthorised access.
As part of the certification process, Banglalink underwent an in-depth audit of its operations, policies, and overall resilience. The company implemented more than 60 operational policies covering data privacy, cybersecurity, and risk mitigation.

Its 24/7 Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Security Operations Centre (SOC) support continuous monitoring and response, ensuring stability and performance across its network infrastructure. These measures are part of a broader system of internal and external audits that promote transparency and long-term compliance.
Employees also receive regular training on best practices in information security and risk management to support the organisation’s objectives.
