Banglalink donates relief items for Turkey earthquake victims

Banglalink, a leading telecommunication service provider in Bangladesh, has extended a helping hand to the victims of the recent earthquake in Turkey by donating relief items.

The donation was made by a delegation of Banglalink, led by Taimur Rahman, the chief corporate and regulatory affairs officer, to the country coordinator of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Sevki Mert Baris.

The relief items were handed over to TIKA’s office in Dhaka on Thursday to aid those affected by the earthquake.

In addition to the relief donation, Banglalink is also offering free international calls to Turkey and Syria for its users until February 23, 2023.

The company hopes to help people in Bangladesh stay connected with their loved ones affected by the earthquake.

Banglalink’s CEO, Erik Aas, stated that the company believes in being socially responsible and wants to support those affected by the earthquake during this challenging time.

The warm clothes and sleeping bags donated by Banglalink will provide much-needed relief for victims in the earthquake-hit areas.
