Bank Asia gets new AMD
Bank Asia Appoints New AMD, ANM Mahfuz, with 20 Years of Banking Experience
Effective March 1, Bank Asia has welcomed ANM Mahfuz as its new additional managing director (AMD). Prior to his appointment, Mahfuz served as the deputy managing director and chief business officer at Prime Bank.
With two decades of experience in the banking industry, Mahfuz started his career as an officer with ANZ Grindlays Bank in 1998. He then spent over 18 years in various capacities at Standard Chartered Bank before joining Prime Bank in May 2018.
Mahfuz holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in economics from the University of Dhaka, as stated in a press release by Bank Asia.
