Bengal Group of Industries has been honored with the first prize at the 16th Bangladesh International Plastics, Printing, and Packaging Industrial Fair. The fair took place from January 24 to 27, 2024, at the International Convention Centre Bashundhara (ICCB), as stated in a press release.
Abdul Hamid, the chief operating officer of Bengal Polymer Wares Limited, received the award on behalf of Bengal Group of Industries. Morshed Alam, Member of Parliament and Chairman of Bengal Group of Industries, served as the chief guest at the event and delivered a valuable speech on the plastic industry.
The primary objective of the International Plastics, Printing, and Packaging Industrial Fair (IPF) is to enhance global accessibility for local public-private partnership industries, showcasing machinery, equipment, and materials related to plastic, rubber, and packaging.

Jashim Uddin, President of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), vice chairman of Bengal Group of Industries, and former president of FBCCI, attended the event as a special guest to present awards to the best pavilions selected from the fair.
