Universal College Bangladesh (UCB), an esteemed educational institution under STS Group, has taken a significant step towards ensuring a promising future for its students by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited on February 1, 2024.

This collaboration, aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry, offers UCB students a distinctive opportunity to gain practical insights from industry experts and explore potential career paths with the renowned paint company.

The formal signing ceremony took place at Berger House in Uttara, attended by key officials from both entities. Among the dignitaries present were Manas Singh, CEO of STS Group; S M Rahmatul Mujeeb, FCA – Chief Financial Officer of STS Capital Ltd; S M Risalat Rahman, Assistant Manager of Universal College Bangladesh (UCB); Rupali Haque Chowdhury, Managing Director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited; and Mushfequr Rahman, Chief HR Admin & HSE Officer of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited.

UCB students will now have access to enhanced employment opportunities, including internships, placements, and training programs offered by Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited. The partnership also includes a series of knowledge-sharing initiatives, featuring guest lectures, career guidance, and mentoring sessions conducted by Berger.

The collaboration between UCB and Berger aims to propel young students towards their career development goals, fostering a strong connection between academic learning and industry-oriented skills.
