Bikroy with Minister launches online cattle market for Eid

Bikroy, the largest and most trusted online marketplace in Bangladesh, has launched the “Birat Haat 2024” campaign in association with Minister Hi-Tech Park Limited, to facilitate customers to trade sacrificial cattle ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

Users can now buy and sell Qurbani cattle on Bikroys platform and get a chance to win exciting prizes worth up to BDT 2 lakh through an online contest.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two parties at Bikroy head office in the capitals Mohakhali. The agreement was signed by Eshita Sharmin, CEO of Bikroy, and K. M. G. Kibria, Head of Brand at Minister Hi-Tech Park Ltd, says a press release.

Md Arifin Hussain, Head of Marketing at Bikroy; Samiur Rahman Shah Sami, Assistant Director of Business Development at Bikroy; and Shahriar Ahmed, Assistant Manager at Minister Hi-Tech Park Limited were also present. Minister has become the title sponsor of Bikroys Birat Haat for the eighth time.

Like previous years, Bikroy has launched Birat Haat, offering a diverse range of livestock animals for Eid-ul-Azha. Currently, there are two thousand ads for sacrificial animals on Bikroy, with the number expected to reach ten thousand. During last years campaign, Bikroy featured over 9,000 similar advertisements.

To participate in the online contest of Birat Haat 2024, users and members are invited to create a video featuring the Birat Haat theme song and share it on their Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube profiles. They must submit the video link on the Bikroy Blog. 13 winners will be selected based on the best video submissions.

For the Member contest, seven winners will be chosen based on the highest number of ads, views, and responses. Winners will receive attractive prizes, including refrigerators and LED TVs worth up to BDT two lakh from Minister Hi-Tech Park Ltd, a leading electronics and home appliance manufacturer in Bangladesh.
