Bkash remains country’s best brand for 4 consecutive years

Bangladesh’s largest mobile financial service provider, bKash has once again been named the country’s best brand by the Bangladesh Brand Forum. This is the fourth year in a row that bKash has received this honor.

In addition to being named the overall best brand among the top 15, bKash was also selected as the ‘Most Loved Brand’ under Mobile Financial Services (MFS) category for the sixth time.

According to a press release, bKash keeps its position as the overall best brand among the top 15, chosen from 110 local and global companies in the country, based on its success from 2019 to 2021.

At the same time, bKash has been named the ‘Most Loved Brand’ in the Mobile Financial Services (MFS) category for the sixth time in a row.

This recognition is a testament to bKash’s ability to facilitate freedom and empowerment in the daily transactions of millions for 11 years, as well as foster financial inclusion more broadly. 15 brands were recognized as the overall top brands out of the top 110 in 38 categories, with bKash coming in first as the best brand in the country.

Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF), in association with The Daily Star, organized the 14th edition of the Best Brand Award on Saturday, December 24th at Le Meridien hotel in Dhaka.

Based on the survey of NielsenIQ, a globally renowned research organization, BBF honoured the winning brands with crests and certificates.

Bkash was represented at the event by chief marketing officer Mir Nawbut Ali; chief human resources officer Ferdous Yusuf; chief communications officer Mahfuz Sadique; head of Internal Control and Enterprise Risk Management Ahmed Ashique Hussain; and head of Brand Ashraf-Ull-Bari.

The Bangladesh Brand Forum has been presenting the ‘Best Brand Award’ for the last 15 years in order to incentivize companies to prioritize customer satisfaction.

A total of 10,000 consumers—a record number—participated in this year’s survey from eight different divisions throughout the country.

This year’s survey was conducted by Nielsen, a world-renowned research company, using the ‘Winning Brands’ method.
