bKash users now have the convenience of processing their income tax returns from the comfort of their homes using Bangladesh’s first online tax preparation, calculation, and payment software, BD Tax.
Users can access various income tax-related services on BD Tax by paying the service charges through bKash. This streamlined tax payment method not only saves time but also contributes to increasing tax collections.
To use this service, customers can follow a few simple steps through the bKash app. They need to select the ‘BD Tax’ icon from the ‘More Services’ section on the bKash app’s home screen. After accepting the terms and conditions, customers will be directed to the BD Tax portal interface. From there, users can create a profile with the necessary information by selecting the ‘Start My Tax Return’ option. In the next step, users can choose one of the available packages and pay the associated service charge to access BD Tax’s services.

The service charge depends on the package chosen by the customers. These packages are subscription-based and can be renewed in the following year if desired.
In addition to processing tax returns, bKash users can also use the platform to pay utility bills such as electricity, gas, and water, as well as holding tax, land tax, and fees for various services offered by Dhaka North City Corporation, Rangpur City Corporation, and Sylhet City Corporation.
